Mich hat mal wieder ein Ohrwurm erwischt…

und nachdem das Original von der GEMA leider für deutschland nicht mehr freigegeben ist, hier die geniale Verarsche von Joko & Klaas:

Feeling like this these days…

My friend Pål H. Christiansen just directed me to this Norwegian song, lyrics by Ole Paus:

And here is the version sung by the texter himself:

Can’t really decide which one I like best. What do you think?

Got the double dvd of Sting’s “If on a winter’s night” Durham cathedral concert and documentary. already loved the concert from the several times I Had seen it on tv (and got the cd much earlier too) but hadn’t seen the documentary until tonight. Very inspiring…

There is this really hilarious sketch of German comedian Hape Kerkeling about Finish Eurovision songs (even if you don’t understand German it’s still great!). I always thought he had made up the songs but…

…BUT! These songs really exist!

Song no.1 was performed in 1988 by “Boulevard”:

Song no.2 was performed by Fredi (!) in 1976! And I can’t say which is more funny – Hape Kerkeling or the original:

Thanks to Pål I’ve got to know the “Valkyrien Allstars” today. What a great music! Listen yourself:

Here’s how they describe themselves on their myspace:

Valkyrien Allstars is not a normal hardangerfiddle group. With traditional music as a basic, VA has developed a totaly new, smooth sound, inspired of many different music-genres. The members of VA is: Tuva Syvertsen (1983), Ola Hilmen (1984) og Erik Sollid (1984). Soulfull and strong vocal mixed with funky fiddles and collective improvisation has become VA.’s image.

I only wonder why they have disabled the function to add their songs to your profile on myspace? That’s a pity. It would have helped spreading the word even more.

They have a fanpage on facebook too. Their website is supposed to be valkyrienallstars.com but wasn’t loading when I tried today. I’ll try again later…
